How to: Rename the My Computer object (icon).
Solution:
Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Rename' from the pop-up menu. Type a new name, and press ENTER. (Optional) Select the 'My Computer' icon and press F2. Type a new name, and press ENTER.
1) Right-click the 'My Computer' icon on the Windows desktop. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Rename'.
3) Type a new name for the icon and press ENTER.
